Meta Apps are Used by 3.24 bn People, while Threads has 150 mn Active Monthly Users

Across all of its applications, Meta now has an average of 3.24 billion family daily active people (DAP), a 7% growth from the previous year. From 130 million in February, Instagram Threads now has over 150 million monthly active users.

Instagram, reels, and video continue to drive engagement, according to Meta Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who stated as much during an earnings call with investors. Reels alone now account for 50% of the time users spend on the platform.

With $36.5 billion in overall sales for the first quarter, Meta saw a 27% increase in reported and constant currency revenue.

The overall costs for Q1 increased by 6% to $22.6 billion over the previous year.

As of March 31, Meta employed 69,329 people, a 10% reduction from the previous year.

The CEO of the firm stated, "We estimate that over 3.2 billion people use at least one of our apps every day and we're seeing healthy growth in the US."
